It seems there have always been a few who seemingly want to attract others to them, apparently as an authority “node” contact with celestials. I take a dim view of any activity attempting to gather people to self to be a “self selected” authority contact person. The best view is to trust the real leaders, our Nebadon Universe Parents, the Superuniverse Ancients and the Paradise Trinity! The Father’s Adjuster will never lead anyone astray. Neither will his Ancients and local creators.
One great guide for my own honesty efforts has been 48:6.33 “The shadow of a hair’s turning, premeditated for an untrue purpose, the slightest twisting or perversion of that which is principle – these constitute falseness.” Note the essence of the entire section! I suspect channeling is mostly “slight twisting” for someone’s purposes other than God’s.
