The Urantia Book Historical Society is a Florida, not-for-profit corporation and was established in 2007 for educational purposes. It is governed by a board of directors who adopted the Code of Ethics of the International Council of Archives.
In the summer of 2005 at a conference in Philadelphia, Urantia Book reader Victoria Clark looked for parties interested in history. Her purpose was to establish a historical society and to find a university repository for physical records. A team of volunteers came forward to help with the project of scanning and digitalizing historical records.
