Hi All – I plan to refer to Lisa Randall’s work in upcoming video part 4.  For those who don’t know about this Harvard professor of Physics, here’s a 50 minute conversation between Dr Randall and Walter Kirn, about her interests, insights and motivations.

Also, for those whose mathematical intuition was tickled by the idea of an absonite as “pre-echo of the finite“, here’s an example of her “beyond the standard model” style of thinking:  Relaxing to Three Dimensions

It’s this sort of mind-bending model that lurks in the foundations of her 2005 book, Warped-Passages

    Re: “pre-echo of the finite”,

(1159.6, 105:7.1) Transcendentals are subinfinite and subabsolute but superfinite and supercreatural. Transcendentals eventuate as an integrating level correlating the supervalues of absolutes with the maximum values of finites. From the creature standpoint, that which is transcendental would appear to have eventuated as a consequence of the finite; from the eternity viewpoint, in anticipation of the finite; and there are those who have considered it as a “pre-echo” of the finite.

This relationship between what we can imagine as spacetime (the finite), and the absonite context in which spacetime evolves, seems to be hinted at — or at least “faintly glimpsed” — in Lisa’s work.
