I’m intrigued that Jesus did not directly engage with this man, “one of the greatest of his race” (1782.5, 160:5.14).
Do you think Jesus might have been using this opportunity to see how the best and brightest of contemporary mortal minds would respond to his apostles’ current version of the good news?
