A Celebration – Next 24-hour Urantiathon
August 22, 2020
The time is drawing near for our next 24-hour online event to bring Urantia Book readers together during this Covid-19 time of social isolation. For this 24-hour Urantiathon—A Celebration!—presenters from six continents will celebrate Jesus’ birthday, share in worship, and study the Urantia teachings.
This event is another in a series of coordinated online webinars alternating between the Education Committees of Urantia Foundation, the Urantia Book Fellowship, and Urantia Association as well as part of the continued classes of Urantia University Institute. One hour will be dedicated to a panel discussion of the future of Education within the Urantia Community. Come lend your voice!
The event will take place starting Saturday August 22, 2020. (If you live in the United States it actually starts on Friday 21 August at 8:00pm EDT.) Here are the times in 3 major cities of the main regions of the world to help you adjust to your own time zone:
New York: Friday 8:00pm to Saturday 8:00pm
London: Saturday 1:00am to Sunday 1:00am
Sydney: Saturday 10.00am to Sunday 10:00am
This conference will be interactive via Zoom and will be livestreamed to Facebook. It will also be recorded and available on Urantia Association’s YouTube channel for those who want to catch up outside of the scheduled times.
Note that this event will feature presentations in four languages, with English simultaneous interpretation available for those not presented in English at all times. Spanish interpretation will be available for nine total hours throughout the event. Please refer to the program for the language hours. When you join Zoom, please remember to choose your language channel under the Interpretation button!
