How, do you think, Melchizedek is seen from the Biblical perspective? Perhaps more clearly than most realize. Some is factual, some not. Of course, The Urantia Book clears away most mystery, even giving us his first name, Machiventa.

    1. Three books of the Bible mention him – Genesis, Psalms, and Hebrews.

    2. The New Testament says much more about Melchizedek than the Old – He is sited only once in Genesis (14:8), once in Psalms (110:4), but several times in Hebrews (7:3, 4, 15, 16, 17, 22, 24, 26, 27).

    3. Genesis got it right that Melchizedek was a contemporary of Abraham – Melchizedek called Abram from Ur to Salem. Ur is where the Second Garden was, 35,000 years before.

    4. In Hebrews, Melchizedek has no recorded family – In fact all Melchizedek Sons have three parents! Michael, the Divine Minister, and Father Melchizedek.

    5. Genesis states Melchizedek was a priest of God the Most High – Revelation tells us his first words to Amdon were: “I am Melchizedek, priest of El Elyon, the Most High, the one and only God.”

    6. Genesis declares Melchizedek gave his blessing for Abram’s military victory – But Paper 93 informs us the blessing of bread and wine was offered when Abram first arrived at Salem.

    7. Melchizedek is the king of Salem in Hebrews 7:1 – He was also know as the Sheik and the Sage of Salem.

    8. Melchizedek’s name means “king of righteousness” – Bible scholars believe his name comes from two Hebrew words: malak (king, ruler) and sadaq (righteous, just, innocent). UB revelation informs us the Melchizedeks are an order of local universe sonship, having of ten million brothers.

    9. The order of Melchizedek is royal and everlasting – “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” Ps 110:4. – Royal maybe, but not forever. The Melchizedeks took origin after Michael and the Divine Minister established Nebadon 400 billion years ago, first creating the Angels, then the Melchizedeks, the Vorondadeks, and the Lanonandeks. Can’t have too many Deks.

    10. Hebrews (7:4) implies Melchizedek was greater than Abraham and Aaron – “Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.” – That is factual according to Paper 93:5:

“…When Melchizedek heard of Abraham’s declaration of war, he went forth to dissuade him but only caught up with his former disciple as he returned victorious from the battle. Abraham insisted that the God of Salem had given him victory over his enemies and persisted in giving a tenth of his spoils to the Salem treasury. The other ninety per cent he removed to his capital at Hebron.”
