Upcoming Elections
Urantia Association International is a grassroots volunteer organization. The Association would not exist without devoted members who step forward to do the important work of keeping the organization healthy and productive. The more volunteers we have the lighter the load for everyone. That’s what teamwork is all about: sharing the load. And by getting involved you can help make our mission of fostering study of The Urantia Book and disseminating its teachings a reality.
Every two years the International Representative Council holds elections to select volunteers to serve as officers and members on the International Service Board (ISB). If you are a full member of the Association, volunteering on the international level is a wonderful opportunity to put your talents and expertise to good use, to learn new skills and to be an important part of helping accomplish our mission.
The ISB officers and members plan, coordinate, and carry out the activities of Urantia Association that are international in scope and have been authorized by the International Representative Council. The ISB members also serve as an information resource for the Constituent Associations by compiling and sharing resources, and the experience of other associations.
This October the call for nominees for the upcoming election will be for the open positions of President, Treasurer, Education Chair, Conference Chair, and Membership Chair. The IRC will also be seeking nominees for two International Judicial Commission openings.
The election will be completed by the end of this year to allow for a three-month training for the new ISB members and the Judicial Commissioners. By the time the candidates take office on April 1, 2025, they will be well informed and prepared to serve with success.

There are also many opportunities to make a difference by volunteering on one of the many ISB committees. The work is stimulating and the cause is noble. The various committees function in education, working on publications, developing a public relations plan, expanding social media presence, developing multi-media, website maintenance, conference planning, fostering study groups, new association development, Prisoner Inquiry Response Team, administrative duties, and fundraising. The revelation prospers when all of us are active and serving. Volunteering in the central administration of the Association is a rewarding way to do that. Connect with our thriving team!
