Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We are approaching an important moment for our Association team. This is an opportunity for all those who wish to make a difference in the work of spreading the Kingdom of God and serving our brothers and sisters. In our daily lives, many of us have ideas and motivation to serve our Father and often do not know how to implement everything we would like to see happen. Many of us would like to be in the presence of Jesus and hear from him the famous “Follow me.” If you have the courage, the drive, and the desire to answer that call, this is one of your opportunities to do so.
…go you now into all the world preaching this gospel of the kingdom of heaven to all men. Love all men as I have loved you; serve your fellow mortals as I have served you. Freely you have received, freely give. (2053.1) 193:0.5
Religion does need new leaders, spiritual men and women who will dare to depend solely on Jesus and his incomparable teachings. If Christianity persists in neglecting its spiritual mission while it continues to busy itself with social and material problems, the spiritual renaissance must await the coming of these new teachers of Jesus’ religion who will be exclusively devoted to the spiritual regeneration of men. And then will these spirit-born souls quickly supply the leadership and inspiration requisite for the social, moral, economic, and political reorganization of the world. (2082.9) 195:9.4
… The world needs to see Jesus living again on earth in the experience of spirit-born mortals who effectively reveal the Master to all men. (2084.1) 195:10.1
On March 31, 2025, the terms of office of some members of the Urantia Association’s International Service Board (ISB) will end. This event takes place every two years. The term for each office is four years and renewals happen every two years for about half of the team, so that the new incoming members can learn and share the experience with older members ensuring a transition with continuous and safe growth.
Our National or Local Affiliates can actively work to nominate or indicate people who, in their opinion, can stand out in our activities. I invite the entire Urantia community to actively participate in this process of volunteering and service in the dissemination of the revelation. This is an opportunity to renew our leadership and bring new ideas and motivations to our entire team.
