Prayer has been the ancestor of
much peace of mind, cheerfulness,
calmness, courage, self-mastery and
fair-mindedness in the men and women

is to establish the habit of praying for

a stimulus to growth

and advanced religions
must deliver mankind
from those fears born of
the dread of natural phenomena

forsaking the evolutionary religions of fear
without immediately grasping
the revelatory religion of love

in spiritualising the believer is certain
to have powerful repercussions
in the social life of such a religionist

the ‘fruits of the spirit’
in the daily life of the
spirit-led mortal
Religion inspires man
to live courageously and joyfully
on the face of earth;
it joins patience with passion,
insight with zeal,
sympathy with power, and
ideals with energy
