I have only just begun to scratch the surface of this book, a very small scratch at that haha. I was hoping for some advice on how to work towards fusing with my thought adjuster. It will be a long time before I have even finished reading the book once. Are there any practices or techniques one can perform to aid the process? Or is it all up to the discretion of the thought adjuster of the speed and degree of fusion one experiences in their life time? Thank you
Greetings rane….no, it’s quite up to you and your discretion…and response, discernment, faith, insight, effort, priorities, intentions, and time commitment. Your adjuster is prepared for fusion upon arrival! Us…not so much.
There are many practices and techniques which help prepare the soil of self for the growth of self. Sincere prayer is one. Development of a philosophy of living is another…a religious and spirit led perspective of daily living. Absolute faith in God and the friendly universe helps with that…and in prayers of thanksgiving and worshipful communion. Learning how to love others and live a life of service and experiential wisdom from devoted living will help too. All this leads to progress through the 7 psychic circles of developmental progress and personal transformation.
If there’s not time to read the whole Revelation, try Papers 100-196 to begin…..hahahaha.
To be a devoted religionist and seek the way of enlightening and personal transformation and transcendence takes its own time and much attention and effort. The rewards for such a personal priority are great and wondrous. No shortcuts though that I’ve found. If one cannot read and pray for an hour of every day….how important is it really?
The UB teaches that it is not the speed of religious growth so much as its fact that is important….and it is less about what we accomplish than what we hope and aspire and work to accomplish that grows soul. Live loyally, trust God, share love with others, pray unceasingly, and the pilgrim of time will soon enough find Paradise. Wisdom and growth come only by experience in time. Best wishes.
Hi Rane. Prayer and worship are the religious “practices and techniques” which will bring you closer to you Adjuster. Paper 91 describes both of these techniques in some detail. But more important than these practices is the motivation and intent behind them. You feel a hope for eternity, which the book teaches comes from the Adjuster. “The Monitors are the prisoners of undying hope, the founts of everlasting progression.” (108:6.7) There is no way anyone else can prove this to you. If you discern that this is true, it is only because you have a real faith, which also comes from the Adjuster, the source of your undying hope.
Religion (the truth of personal spiritual experience) is founded on the inherent (Thought Adjuster) assumption that faith is valid, that God can be known and attained. (103:9.8)
But truth can never become man’s possession without the exercise of faith. This is true because man’s thoughts, wisdom, ethics, and ideals will never rise higher than his faith, his sublime hope. (132:3.5)
Along with these divine gifts of undying hope and faith, the Adjuster also reveals himself to us in the hunger for truth. To fall in love with the truth is to fall in love with the Adjuster.
The pursuit of knowledge constitutes science; the search for wisdom is philosophy; the love for God is religion; the hunger for truth is a revelation. But it is the indwelling Thought Adjuster that attaches the feeling of reality to man’s spiritual insight into the cosmos. (102:3.12)
“There can be no peace in the heart or progress in the mind unless you fall wholeheartedly in love with truth, the ideals of eternal realities.” (157:2.2)
If undying hope, eternal faith, and love for the truth are your motivations, then you cannot fail to progress in the spirit and draw closer to your Adjuster. For these motivations come from the Adjuster, who is the “will of God abroad in the universes.” (1:3.6)

If your hope is challenged by despair, do not hesitate to ask God to uplift your heart. If your faith wavers in the winds of doubt, turn to God for a renewal of strength. If your hunger for truth weakens, pray to God to quicken your soul. “Never hesitate to ask him for wisdom and spiritual strength to guide and sustain you.” (91:6.4)
I was hoping for some advice on how to work towards fusing with my thought adjuster.
It’s about God’s will. So . . . sincerity, sincerity, sincerity . . . . decisions, decisions and more decisions. The more attuned with truth, beauty and goodness those decisions are the better, because they will be the ones most in tune with God’s will.

110:3.6 (1206.4) You must not regard co-operation with your Adjuster as a particularly conscious process, for it is not; but your motives and your decisions, your faithful determinations and your supreme desires, do constitute real and effective co-operation. You can consciously augment Adjuster harmony by:
110:3.7 (1206.5) 1. Choosing to respond to divine leading; sincerely basing the human life on the highest consciousness of truth, beauty, and goodness, and then co-ordinating these qualities of divinity through wisdom, worship, faith, and love.
110:3.8 (1206.6) 2. Loving God and desiring to be like him—genuine recognition of the divine fatherhood and loving worship of the heavenly Parent.
110:3.9 (1206.7) 3. Loving man and sincerely desiring to serve him—wholehearted recognition of the brotherhood of man coupled with an intelligent and wise affection for each of your fellow mortals.
110:3.10 (1206.8) 4. Joyful acceptance of cosmic citizenship—honest recognition of your progressive obligations to the Supreme Being, awareness of the interdependence of evolutionary man and evolving Deity. This is the birth of cosmic morality and the dawning realization of universal duty.
Simple like that.
