My result came out “red” centred but not bold
VernParticipantThis is meant to be aligned RH, blue bold text
Dear Support,
My result came out “blue,” aligned right as intended, but, not bold.
VernParticipantA few headings to see if they work in “green” centered in the box.

VernParticipantA few formats to see how they turn out.
I used the quote button in the toolbar to do this
This one should be a pullquote with a highlighted “bold” word in inverted commas
Dear Support,
The quote displayed without the word “bold” actually showing as bold. I’m pleased that the “add attachment” function is working.

VernParticipantA few formats to see how they turn out.
For me the Left hand format “pullquotes”
I see, this is how it appears in other places on the website
button format applied
I see nothing happen when “button” format applied. Is this as it should be?
VernParticipantshould be bold “black” LH side
should be bold “black” RH side
should be bold “black” Centred
Dear Support,
Please enable these basic toolbar functions as they are not working for me:
- bold function
- bold italic function
- italic function
should be bold italic “black” LH side
should be bold italic “black” RH side
should be bold italic “black” Centred
should be plain italic “black” LH side
should be plain italic “black” RH side
should be plain italic “black” Centred
VernParticipantDear Support,
Seeing I’m unable to apply italics to text using the “I” button in the toolbar, I’ll try to do it by applying the “Address” paragraph style.
Question
How can I remove an attachment? One of these is not displaying correctly.

Moderator-1ModeratorHello Vern,
The Website Management Committee will assist you in solving your tool function problems. Please know that all feedback is very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Moderator-1
VernParticipantThanks Mod,
For confirming these issues are being addressed.
I raise them on behalf of my fellow Mac users who comprise a significant body of internet users.
See attached table for statistical breakdown for month of June 2014.

KathleenKeymasterHi Vern,
All the formatting that you say doesn’t work is actually working. Your bold and italics trials do come out as bold and italic. I went to look as a non participant to see how the public would view it and they can be seen. I suspect the problem is at your end but I’ll run it be the Webmaster.
To delete your attachments – you have 3 days grace to go in and edit your own posts which should allow you to delete your attachment. After that you’d need to ask a Moderator or admin person to do it for you.
Can you please use the WMC hidden forum for stats and other admin business? Cheers.

VernParticipantHi Kathleen,
I already know I have 3 days to make edits to my posts but this does not tell me how to remove an attachment.
How can an attachment be deleted? Nothing I could see showed a means to do this.
VernParticipantHi Kathleen,
You wrote:

Sure, when I find where it is.
I’m just back from looking for it and cannot find any such place

I can see that you made the word “can” bold in the quote above yet I only see that in visual mode in this window, NOT when I submit the message on the forum as an item for public view.
In my message showing that Safari on a Mac is used by millions of web users I’m making this problem known on their behalf as well. They would experience the same non function as I do.
Saying you see something I don’t is not addressing the issue. Please ask Christine to look into this.
VernParticipantKathleen,
To show you what I see, attached is a screenshot of that quote from the message above showing how the intended bold word “can” is not displaying correctly for me.

KathleenKeymasterYes, I understand. I’ve brought it to the webmaster’s attention.
