(110:2.5) You as a personal creature have mind and will. The Adjuster as a prepersonal creature has premind and prewill. If you so fully conform to the Adjuster’s mind that you see eye to eye, then your minds become one, and you receive the reinforcement of the Adjuster’s mind. Subsequently, if your will orders and enforces the execution of the decisions of this new or combined mind, the Adjuster’s prepersonal will attains to personality expression through your decision, and as far as that particular project is concerned, you and the Adjuster are one. Your mind has attained to divinity attunement, and the Adjuster’s will has achieved personality expression.
Seeing eye to eye with our Adjuster is achievable now.
In regards to quote 110:2.5, the key phrase to focus on is:. . . as far as that particular project is concerned, you and the Adjuster are one.
The reference to seeing eye to eye and receiving Adjuster mind reinforcement occurs for one single project in time. It is, as I mentioned in my last post, a sporadic event. Further evidence of this is seen in the following quote:
12:7.7 The will of God does not uniformly prevail in the heart of the God-seeking material mortal, but if the time frame is enlarged beyond the moment to embrace the whole of the first life, then does God’s will become increasingly discernible in the spirit fruits which are borne in the lives of the spirit-led children of God. And then, if human life is further enlarged to include the morontia experience, the divine will is observed to shine brighter and brighter in the spiritualizing acts of those creatures of time who have begun to taste the divine delights of experiencing the relationship of the personality of man with the personality of the Universal Father.
We are told that God’s will does not uniformly prevail in the heart of even a God-seeking man. It is a sporadic event that the creature’s mind and the Adjuster’s pre-mind conform and see “eye to eye”. Not even the whole of this life reveals uniformity, but must include the next as well. Only after fusion can we expect to have a permanent reinforcement of the Adjuster mind. Those sporadic projects of unified human-Adjuster activity are part of the courtship process on the way to fusion.
110.1.6 Today you are passing through the period of the courtship of your Adjuster; and if you only prove faithful to the trust reposed in you by the divine spirit who seeks your mind and soul in eternal union, there ensue that morontia oneness, that supernal harmony, that cosmic co-ordination, that divine attunement, that celestial fusion, that never-ending blending of identity, that oneness of being which is so perfect and final that even the most experienced personalities can never segregate or recognize as separate identities the fusion partners — mortal man and divine Adjuster.
110:7.4 All that was once human in the surviving soul and all that is experientially divine in the Adjuster now become the actual possession of the new and ever-ascending universe personality.
Sorry Bradly for contributing to the derailment of this topic . . . again. Back to faith. I would be remiss not to mention Jesus’ talk on the four faith attitudes:
- “Happy are the poor in spirit— the humble.”
- “Happy are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.”
- “Happy are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.“
- “Happy are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”
Here we are again . . . the pure in heart shall see God. That means to see God by faith, faith-vision, or spiritual insight. Spiritual insight augments Adjuster guidance and Adjuster guidance produces fruit. The fruit produced is love, love for others. Faith of the pure heart is the gateway which opens the kingdom of heaven for the hungry soul.
137:8.17 “John came preaching repentance to prepare you for the kingdom; now have I come proclaiming faith, the gift of God, as the price of entrance into the kingdom of heaven. If you would but believe that my Father loves you with an infinite love, then you are in the kingdom of God.”
Agondonters believe without seeing. But what are they not seeing?
The term means they don’t see the usual physical representation embodied in the Material Sons and the corporal staff of the Planetary Prince which are missing on an isolated world caught up in rebellion like ours.
But believing without seeing doesn’t mean agondonters don’t use spiritual vision in order to see. This is what makes them happy. Because it’s due to this vision that they see God.
No worries Bonita…you didn’t knock us off the fairway and into the weeds….besides, it’s been most interesting and educational! Also, you and Mara keep hitting the ball back toward the lawn every swing you take. It’s all good.

So how did over 75% of our world come to believe in God? The answer to that question came to Urantia some 4000 years ago. Machiventa enlightened an entire planet by his teachings and his missionaries who spread to the far corners of civilization and all these great cultures spawned new religions and spirituality. These seeds sown sprang from fertile soil with power over 1500 years making the Son’s bestowal and his gift of the Son’s Spirit to bring forth fruit that one might consider highly improbable given our darkness, primitivisms, and isolation. (review Papers 93-98 for this amazing tale of incredible success)
How does faith arrive and arise and strengthen on such a world of those who believe without seeing? What kind of power does the Son’s Spirit of Truth really have? Immeasurable I think. Unimaginable even.
Consider that many other isolated worlds do not have this Spirit….it is given world by world. Our fellow children on the Neighboring Planet (Paper 72) do not have the Son’s Spirit yet and still does one whole nation progress by reason, fairness, traditions, ethics, morality, wisdom, and worship as delivered by the Holy Spirit and her Adjutants of Wisdom and Worship.
I asked an unanswerable earlier….what might our world be like today without the Spirit of Truth these past 2000 years?
While many on our world despair for our future and far too many UB students express great impatience and disappointment in Urantia’s progress. How can any serious student of the Papers be disappointed or impatient? I find our progress through the Epochs unexplainable and confounding! Who can doubt the power of the Most Highs and our rulers and ministers?
The authors clearly give us much to feed hope and patience to provide a clearer vision of our beloved sphere – this Shrine of Nebadon:
72:12.4 (820.2) Urantians should, however, take note that their sister sphere in the Satania family has benefited by neither magisterial nor bestowal missions of the Paradise Sons. Neither are the various peoples of Urantia set off from each other by such disparity of culture as separates the continental nation from its planetary fellows.
72:12.5 (820.3) The pouring out of the Spirit of Truth provides the spiritual foundation for the realization of great achievements in the interests of the human race of the bestowal world. Urantia is therefore far better prepared for the more immediate realization of a planetary government with its laws, mechanisms, symbols, conventions, and language — all of which could contribute so mightily to the establishment of world-wide peace under law and could lead to the sometime dawning of a real age of spiritual striving; and such an age is the planetary threshold to the utopian ages of light and life.

20:5.3 Some order of Paradise Son must be bestowed upon each mortal-inhabited world in order to make it possible for Thought Adjusters to indwell the minds of all normal human beings on that sphere, for the Adjusters do not come to all bona fide human beings until the Spirit of Truth has been poured out upon all flesh; and the sending of the Spirit of Truth is dependent upon the return to universe headquarters of a Paradise Son who has successfully executed a mission of mortal bestowal upon an evolving world.
Another thing I want to point out is that spiritual insight is also a gift from God.
101:4.2 While divine or spiritual insight is a gift, human wisdom must evolve.

194:3.13 (2065.1) Up to Pentecost, religion had revealed only man seeking for God; since Pentecost, man is still searching for God, but there shines out over the world the spectacle of God also seeking for man and sending his spirit to dwell within him when he has found him.
194:3.19 (2065.7) The coming of the Spirit of Truth purifies the human heart and leads the recipient to formulate a life purpose single to the will of God and the welfare of men. The material spirit of selfishness has been swallowed up in this new spiritual bestowal of selflessness. Pentecost, then and now, signifies that the Jesus of history has become the divine Son of living experience. The joy of this outpoured spirit, when it is consciously experienced in human life, is a tonic for health, a stimulus for mind, and an unfailing energy for the soul.
108:0.1 (1185.1) THE mission of the Thought Adjusters to the human races is to represent, to be, the Universal Father to the mortal creatures of time and space; that is the fundamental work of the divine gifts. Their mission is also that of elevating the mortal minds and of translating the immortal souls of men up to the divine heights and spiritual levels of Paradise perfection. And in the experience of thus transforming the human nature of the temporal creature into the divine nature of the eternal finaliter, the Adjusters bring into existence a unique type of being, a being consisting in the eternal union of the perfect Adjuster and the perfected creature which it would be impossible to duplicate by any other universe technique.
108:4.4 (1190.5) When a world is isolated by rebellion, when a planet is cut off from all outside encircuited communication, as was Urantia after the Caligastia upheaval, aside from personal messengers there remains but one possibility of direct interplanetary or universe communication, and that is through the liaison of the Adjusters of the spheres. No matter what happens on a world or in a universe, the Adjusters are never directly concerned. The isolation of a planet in no way affects the Adjusters and their ability to communicate with any part of the local universe, superuniverse, or the central universe. And this is the reason why contacts with the supreme and the self-acting Adjusters of the reserve corps of destiny are so frequently made on quarantined worlds. Recourse is had to such a technique as a means of circumventing the handicaps of planetary isolation. In recent years the archangels’ circuit has functioned on Urantia, but that means of communication is largely limited to the transactions of the archangel corps itself.
108:6.2 (1193.1) No matter what the previous status of the inhabitants of a world, subsequent to the bestowal of a divine Son and after the bestowal of the Spirit of Truth upon all humans, the Adjusters flock to such a world to indwell the minds of all normal will creatures. Following the completion of the mission of a Paradise bestowal Son, these Monitors truly become the “kingdom of heaven within you.”

85:7.1-3 Nature worship may seem to have arisen naturally and spontaneously in the minds of primitive men and women, and so it did; but there was operating all this time in these same primitive minds the sixth adjutant spirit, which had been bestowed upon these peoples as a directing influence of this phase of human evolution. And this spirit was constantly stimulating the worship urge of the human species, no matter how primitive its first manifestations might be. The spirit of worship gave definite origin to the human impulse to worship, notwithstanding that animal fear motivated the expression of worshipfulness, and that its early practice became centered upon objects of nature.
You must remember that feeling, not thinking, was the guiding and controlling influence in all evolutionary development. To the primitive mind there is little difference between fearing, shunning, honoring, and worshiping.
When the worship urge is admonished and directed by wisdom – meditative and experiential thinking – it then begins to develop into the phenomenon of real religion. When the seventh adjutant spirit, the spirit of wisdom, achieves effective ministration, then in worship man begins to turn away from nature and natural objects to the God of nature and to the eternal Creator of all things natural.

I believe what Bradly was referring to above, is the Abrahamic Religions which make up about 75% of the current religions established on this world today? Correct me if I’m wrong here Bradly.
According to wikipedia there are about 7.5 billion people on the planet and 7.1 billion are members of some religious organization. That’s about 95%. The Abrahamic religions make up about 50% of all religionists.
Indeed. The power of the Adjutants should not be taken lightly. The original spark. The urge and yearning to understand causes and effects, sources and destiny, and the Spirit which unites the physical world and the experience within into a unified philosophy that defines our very motives, intentions, responses, and choices no matter the circumstance or situation – the integration of reality. It would appear this all began with Andon and Fonta on our world.
63:6.8 (716.7) Onagar was born 983,323 years ago (from A.D. 1934), and he lived to be sixty-nine years of age. The record of the achievements of this master mind and spiritual leader of the pre-Planetary Prince days is a thrilling recital of the organization of these primitive peoples into a real society. He instituted an efficient tribal government, the like of which was not attained by succeeding generations in many millenniums. Never again, until the arrival of the Planetary Prince, was there such a high spiritual civilization on earth. These simple people had a real though primitive religion, but it was subsequently lost to their deteriorating descendants.
63:6.9 (717.1) Although both Andon and Fonta had received Thought Adjusters, as had many of their descendants, it was not until the days of Onagar that the Adjusters and guardian seraphim came in great numbers to Urantia. This was, indeed, the golden age of primitive man.
63:7.1 (717.2) Andon and Fonta, the splendid founders of the human race, received recognition at the time of the adjudication of Urantia upon the arrival of the Planetary Prince, and in due time they emerged from the regime of the mansion worlds with citizenship status on Jerusem. Although they have never been permitted to return to Urantia, they are cognizant of the history of the race they founded. They grieved over the Caligastia betrayal, sorrowed because of the Adamic failure, but rejoiced exceedingly when announcement was received that Michael had selected their world as the theater for his final bestowal.
63:7.2 (717.3) On Jerusem both Andon and Fonta were fused with their Thought Adjusters, as also were several of their children, including Sontad, but the majority of even their immediate descendants only achieved Spirit fusion.
63:7.3 (717.4) Andon and Fonta, shortly after their arrival on Jerusem, received permission from the System Sovereign to return to the first mansion world to serve with the morontia personalities who welcome the pilgrims of time from Urantia to the heavenly spheres. And they have been assigned indefinitely to this service. They sought to send greetings to Urantia in connection with these revelations, but this request was wisely denied them.
63:7.4 (717.5) And this is the recital of the most heroic and fascinating chapter in all the history of Urantia, the story of the evolution, life struggles, death, and eternal survival of the unique parents of all mankind.

86:6.2 (955.7) Very early in the history of mankind the realities of the imaginary world of ghosts and spirits became universally believed, and this newly imagined spirit world became a power in primitive society. The mental and moral life of all mankind was modified for all time by the appearance of this new factor in human thinking and acting.
86:7.3 (956.6) But these ancient ideas of religion prevented men from becoming fatalistic and hopelessly pessimistic; they believed they could at least do something to influence fate. The religion of ghost fear impressed upon men that they must regulate their conduct, that there was a supermaterial world which was in control of human destiny.
86:7.6 (957.2) Primitive religion prepared the soil of the human mind, by the powerful and awesome force of false fear, for the bestowal of a bona fide spiritual force of supernatural origin, the Thought Adjuster. And the divine Adjusters have ever since labored to transmute God-fear into God-love. Evolution may be slow, but it is unerringly effective.
Thanks Midi….yes, that was my meaning. But to Bonita’s point, Melchezidek’s monotheism did not arrive in a vacuum either. It would be an error to teach or infer that religion began 4000 years ago. It began with Andon and Fonta’s response to the higher Adjutants which delivered the Thought Adjusters to our very first humans and ascending mortals and which they, in turn, led others into the future of social, scientific, religious, and philosophic evolution. Indeed, the beginning was at the beginning and Machinventa’s work could not have achieved its fullness of import and impact without that beginning and evolutionary results.
63:1.4 (711.7) The decision of Andon and Fonta to flee from the Primates tribes implies a quality of mind far above the baser intelligence which characterized so many of their later descendants who stooped to mate with their retarded cousins of the simian tribes. But their vague feeling of being something more than mere animals was due to the possession of personality and was augmented by the indwelling presence of the Thought Adjusters.

The Melchizedek Teachings in the OrientThis Paper might suggest a great influence upon much of the other 50% as well?
Study of Andon and Fonta and our ancient and primitive ancestors who progressed sufficiently in the Spirit to receive TAs brings my mind back to the source and definition of faith and its seemingly, to me, inextricable association with love….even within the most primitive minds.
I opened this topic with a rather modest and shallow beginning….but am so pleased to see it become so much more.
