Imagine how Adam and Eve felt when they had to abandon the first garden; the most beautiful place on Earth left behind, their immortality forfeited, and worst of all, 1200 of their children and grandchildren had been taken away.

To have come to a world in such high hopes, to have been so auspiciously received, and then to go forth in disgrace from Eden, only to lose more than three fourths of their children even before finding a new abiding place! 75:6.4 (844.6)
The second garden had to be built up from raw ground, but they did not shrink from their labors. The pair worked for 400 years more, then died and were resurrected on the Mansion Worlds, where we too shall awaken someday, after our labors and lessons on Earth are finished.
