The Association’s Education Committee organizes and hosts workshops and webinars on Zoom. Last year they held seventeen! Have you attended? We hope you will join in the inspiring gatherings hosted by Jeannie Vázquez, your Education Committee Chair, and the dedicated volunteers who assist Jeannie.
Here is an example of what you don’t want to miss:
Spanish, French and Portuguese Webinars and Workshops
These webinars offer a variety of topics about The Urantia Book teachings, held by students from all over Latin America and Europe. Some of the themes are:
- Introduction to The Urantia Book, Part 1, 2 and 3 (Spanish) – Ing. Arturo García
- The Three Great Levels of Universal Reality (Spanish) – Javier Martínez
- Are We in the Way of God? (French) – Agnès Lazar and Guy Perron
- The Good News (Portuguese) – Adriano Santos
You can see the videos of these webinars on the Spanish and Portuguese Association’s YouTube channel and the Association’s Facebook page.
Topical Webinars
The webinars include a one-hour presentation followed by time for questions and comments. The presenter can choose The Urantia Book topic they prefer, provided they stick to the content of the Book or include geographical, historical, and astronomical data consistent with the revelation. The aim is to offer opportunities for presenters and attendants to share their views about the teachings, learn from others, and develop friendships and familiarity among the readership from around the world.
- A Journey Towards Understanding the Will of God – Sheila Keene-Lund
- The Value of the Revelation to Mankind – Enrique Traver
- Spiritual Unity and Us – Gaétan Charland
- Outreach/Evangelism – Marvin Gawryn
- The Part and the Whole – Rick Lyon
- Simplicity Brings Us Closer to God – Agnès Lazar and Guy Perron
- By Their Fruits You Shall Know Them – Agnès Lazar and Guy Perron
