We invite you to join our 2019 Summer Conference for Urantia Book readers in Finland at Päivölän Opisto, Tarttila which is 135 kilometers from Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Our theme will be: “Thousands of Study Groups Must Be Brought Into Existence”
During this conference there will be a mixture of presentations, workshops, study groups, discussions, walking in nature, a social program, and other Urantia-focussed activities.

Programming
Friday June 7
18.00 Annual General Meeting. The general meeting is normally only for Finnish Urantia Association members but non-members are also welcome to observe. (According to our rules only members have right to vote and make proposals.) After the general meeting there will be supper and social activity.
Saturday June 8
08.00 Breakfast
09.00-9:20 Opening by Sini Liljaand singing together, live music by Osmo Saarela
9:20-10:20 Taking pictures of nature and participants. (When taking photos of people please ask their permission, and if you want to use on social media or internet, please also ask their permission.)
10:20-11:00 Presentation: What Did Jesus Teach About Teamwork? Kari Kippo
11.00- 12 Lunch
12:00-14:00 Workshops. Which whole chapter shall we choose? We will make notes and write questions. The results and experiences of the workshops groups will be opened and discussed together.
14:00-14:30 Coffee break
14:30-15:30 An exercise called ”The Tree of Life”, whose branches are filled with leaves and fruits which give us spiritual nourishment. How does this tree nourish us? Let’s draw together in groups this “Tree of Life” with branches and fruits on large paper. It may include prayers, worshiping, service and teachings of Jesus.
15:30-16:00 Sharing the results of the workshops groups.

Sunday June 9
9:00-10:00 Pilgrimage, planned and directed by Sini Lilja, music by Henrik Perelloand Osmo Saarela
10:00-11:00 Presentation: The Discoveries of Science on Working in Groups and Peer Support (psychology, education theory, neurology, sociology) by Riitta Tuori
11.00-12:00 Lunch
12:00-13:00 Spiritual AA-group. We will go through the method of AA’s 12 Step program in groups.
13:00-13:30 Singing together and Singing (solo) Sini Lilja, text by Sini Lilja, composed by Urantia Book reader, Kari Kuosmanen.
13:30-14:00 Closing words, Risto Mäntynen, President Urantia Association Finland
14:00 Coffee and goodbyes

€30 per day/person in a shared room.
Note:There is a fee of €20 to cover Lecture Room Rentals.

Meals and evening snacks for two days is €50. You can also buy meals separately.
