Urantia Association welcomes members from all races, cultures, nations, and religions. As a member of Urantia Association you will join an international family of Urantia Book students who enjoy social activities and educational programs, including a wide range of service opportunities that will tap your personal skills and talents for the most important project of our time: the moral and spiritual rejuvenation of humanity.
Being a member of Urantia Association provides opportunities to serve others by sharing a new revelation and also stimulates growth in personal development as we explore the profound depths of The Urantia Book’s teachings with others who are motivated to improve their lives and elevate the God consciousness of our world.
How to Join
You join our organization by becoming a member of the National or Local Association that serves your region, therein becoming a member of our global community of Urantia Association International. There are two categories of membership in the Association: Full Member and Associate Member. If there is no National or Local Association in your area, you will join Urantia Association as a Full- or Associate Member-at-Large.
Types of Membership
Full Member – To be eligible for full membership in Urantia Association, a person must have read The Urantia Book in its entirety, support the teachings of The Urantia Book, support the goals and purposes of Urantia Association and Urantia Foundation, and agree to abide by Urantia Association’s Bylaws and the Bylaws of his or her National and/or Local Association. Full members are eligible to vote and to hold office in their Association.
Associate Member – An individual who has not read The Urantia Book in its entirety may join Urantia Association as an Associate Member. To be eligible to join the Association as an associate member a person must be reading The Urantia Book, support the teachings of The Urantia Book, support the goals and purposes of Urantia Association and Urantia Foundation, and agree to abide by Urantia Association’s Bylaws and the Bylaws of his or her National and/or Local Association. An associate member may not hold office, is not entitled to vote, and must be affiliated with a Local or National Association.
The Membership Process
- Read the following governing documents for Urantia Association and Urantia Foundation:
Bylaws, Privacy Policy, Declaration of Trust Creating Urantia Foundation. - If you agree to support the purposes and goals of Urantia Association and Urantia Foundation after reading their governing documents you may indicate your interest in becoming a member by submitting our Membership Online Application form (see below for the link). A representative of the National or Local Association or the Urantia Association Membership Committee will contact you to answer any questions and review the application.
- The Governing Board of the National or Local Association will vote to accept or reject the application.
- If membership is accepted, the new member pays any membership dues required by the National or Local Association.
